How big of a tent do I need for my event?

It depends on the event. A sit down meal using rectangular tables for your guest will need a tent size of 8-10 sq. ft. per person.  A cocktail party with everyone standing, you should allow 6 sq. ft. per person.  If you are planning a buffet. allow extra 100 sq. ft. per buffet table.  If dancing will be a part of your celebration allow 2-4 sq. ft. per dancer.  Unsure what size you need, just  drop us an email, giving us the details of your event and we will make recommendations on the size and type of tent choices you would have and other suggestions to complete your event.

Where can I place a tent ?

A relatively flat grassy area is the ideal location for a pole tent.  Allow a space 10 feet over both the width and length of the tent i.e. a 20' x 30' tent (the most common size for a graduation party) will need a 30' x 40' space. Stakes that are used for installing the tent are set 30" into the surface.  For the safety of our installers and customers, the site should not have any buried electrical lines. gas lines. phone or cable lines, septic systems or sprinkler systems.  A standard rental installation location is within 20' of where our delivery truck can be parked.  Special arrangements can be made for sites where the tent is over 20' from the truck.

Do you have big tents ?

Yes, indeed! Our smallest pole tent is 10' x 10' our largest is 80' x 100' (big enough for 1000 of your closest friends!!).  We have many different sized tents between these two extremes.  Call or email us with your particular needs - we are sure WE WILL HAVE A TENT FOR YOUR EVENT.

Do you have different "qualities" of tents ?

Our best quality tent we call a Party tent.  It is appropriate fro weddings, top of the line corporate events etc...

Our medium quality tent is called a clean fair tent.  It is appropriate for graduation parties, corporate events where a pristine appearance is not essential, pig roasts, etc...

Our lowest quality tent is called a FAIR tent.  It is appropriate for county fairs, storage uses and construction tents ( used in winter).  It is appropriate for any event where people and food are involved.

Can I cook under the tent ?

We request NO OPEN FLAME COOKING under or near a party grade tent.  NO OPEN FLAME COOKING under a Clean Fair or Fair tent.

Are your tents waterproof ?

Although all our tent fabrics are treated with waterproof compounds, NO TENT IS GUARANTEED ABSOLUTELY  WATERPROOF. Leakage may occur at seams, around the triangle assemblies where the poles are installed and at the laces where the tents are put together.  A rainy day although inconvenient, should not prevent your event from being a success.

When will the tent be installed ?

The tent can be installed at a mutually agreeable time.
